This is my #1 phrase this week. You know, you would THINK with all this talk about an economy in the crapper, people would WANT business right? Hmmm, I'm thinking that's a big fat NO. Let's see who we've had to say this to lately; Pep Boys, Dell, Apple, John Deere, and AT&T. We're not unreasonable people I swear. But we WOULD like to talk to someone at least half knowledgeable about the product that they "service" and well, speaking and understanding conversational English would really just be a bonus at this point. Seriously, who wants my money? I feel like I'm waving a stack of Benjamins around and no one even notices. Maybe because there are plenty of OTHER people out there throwing money at them too, it just doesn't bother them. I'm only one customer. Someone else will come along in about 2.5 seconds anyway, right?
:::massive eyeroll to all you big business out there who think you are the shiznit:::
Alright, I'll take a deep breath.
Sooooo, in other news: Ben is getting sick. He sounded congested this morning, but got progressively worse as the day went on. When he went to bed, he said he had a headache and that his throat hurt. Well isn't that grand. He had a slight fever and was flushed when he went to bed, but I just checked on him and, while he's still flushed, he seems normal temperature-wise. This fluctuation in temperature isn't helping either. It was in the upper 70's today, so it actually felt hot. Hopefully he'll feel ok tomorrow, but I'm thinking the weekend festivities will be going on without us. :-(
Sadie is getting her first tooth!! Yep, a full 4 months ahead of her brother. She is SUCH the overachiever. Fortunately, it's not bothering her yet, and this is why I LOVE late teething. LOL!! Except for the molars, teething never bothered Ben either. He was too busy getting into everything to notice.
So that's what's been going on in our neck of the woods. Good Times.
